ProtxL Fuel Maintenance Systems
The ProtxL Fuel Maintenance System can be fitted to both fixed and mobile plant and equipment. Sizing of the system depends on the engine fuel demand, or the desired flow of fuel in the case of bulk fuel storage tanks.
A standard spin-on fuel filter element usually filters to around 12 micron. Inside this element is a screen material with a pleated cardboard skirt. These filters are very limited to the amount of moisture and fungi that they are able to filter from the fuel. This results in machinery losing power and eventually stopping.
ProtxL Fuel and OIL filters reduce logistic costs buy utilizing the same replacement element. This dense long fibre element is capable of completely drying even the emulsified moisture in the fuel.
