Our objective is to optimize client machine availability, performance, and service life of all lubricated assets and halve the cost of oil and filter service. Additionally there are significant logistics and carbon reduction benefits with new and used oil being reduced by up to a factor of 20 i.e. from 20 drums down to 1 drum per year, which qualify for carbon credits.

If you are not operating your entire machine inventory with ISO 13/11 cleanliness standard you are experiencing unnecessary and costly service, repairs and down time expense.

Military: ProtxL oil and fuel filtration has a NATO parts number and has been regularly supplied to the Australian Navy for six years. The application of the ProtxL total system cleanliness program will enable very significant logistics and emissions benefits and optimum machine tempo. ProtxL can reduce costs and deliver on carbon reduction goals in all machine applications from turbines, diesel engines, hydraulics, gearboxes, transmissions, and bulk jet and diesel fuels.

Telecommunications: The tyranny of distance makes an extremely expensive and unnecessary exercise of doing a regular 250 hour oil change on hundreds of thousands of gen-set transmitters that form the mobile phone network in Africa, India, South America and the Middle East and the ProtxL 1,000 hour oil and filter service is the new industry standard.

Power generation: A ProtxL module on an Ansaldo steam turbine 100Meg ($100Million with 16,000 litres of synthetic oil) reduced oil moisture from 557ppm down to 38ppm in 4 days. Power house Cummins KT19’s for years operate on 5,000 hour extended oil change.

Mining: Machine availability and performance is critical to achieve production targets. ProtxL constantly every day of the year maintains the highest oil and diesel cleanliness standard sufficient to break the engine oil acid cycle and stop varnish. The 1,000 hour extended oil and filter service increases production and reduces the cost of oil, filters, repairs and down time.

Marine: For the last 13 years the entire 70 vessel diesel engine inventory of Kailis Marine has operated on approximately 3,000 hours extended service on the main engines and 4,500 to 5,500 extended hour service on auxiliary engines. They were surprised with V2 92 TA & V8 TA Detroit Diesel engines that run 2,000 hours on zero soot readings and only slight soot readings occurring up to 2,500 hours. On Captain Cook Cruises the fuel pumps are serviced every 15,000 hours and injectors every 7,500 hours.

As by-pass oil and fuel filtration does not void OEM engine warranty we recommend that your tenders for supply of all machinery specify ‘best practise ‘of 1,000 hour extended oil and filter service based on initial progressive 250 hour oil analysis.
